ABOUT NACHIKETA TAL
Nachiketa Tal is situated 30 km east of Uttarkashi town in Uttarakhand. The lake is believed to be the meditation place of Nachiketa, a protagonist of Hindu mythology, where he also realized his Moksha.
Nachiketa Tal is situated at an elevation of 8074 ft or 2453 meters above sea level.
