Day 1: Your Place to Rishikesh

As you arrive in Delhi/Your Location, meet our tour representative who helps you with an assisted road transfer to Haridwar/Rishikesh. On the way, stop for lunch. Upon reaching Haridwar/Rishikesh, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel. Freshen-up and get ready for exploring this holy city on the banks of River Ganga. Visit the very popular Ganga Ghat. The evening is scheduled for the remarkable Ganga aarti, the river worshipping ceremony. While holy chants are played in the background, admire the wonderful sight of lighted lamps that fall into the flowing water of the river. Back to the hotel for dinner.

About Tehri, Tehri Dam and Tehri Lake

New Tehri is the first planned city in Uttarakhand established during the Tehri Dam project. The ruins of Old Tehri lies under water today.

The Tehri Dam is the highest dam in India and one of the highest in the world. Every year Uttarakhand Tourism organizes Tehri Lake Festival it is the most joyous festival of Uttarakhand, involving folk dances, music, amazing food, water sports, and much more.

Apart from water sports, you will also find Houseboats, you can book a Houseboat and spend an unforgettable time in the Himalayas, in Devbhoomi. These house boats will have all the facilities of a small guest house.

About Mussoorie

Mussoorie also known as Queen of The Hills, stands at an altitude of 7000 feet above sea level, is a hill station situated in the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayan range located 35 kilometers from the state capital of Dehradun and 290 km north of the national capital of New Delhi.

Climate: The summer temperatures in the town, range from 20 °C to 25 °C, while winter temperatures remain between 10°C and -1 °C. Mussoorie usually receives a few spells of snowfall in December, January, and February.
