Rishikesh, Lansdowne Wildlife safari and Sight Seeing Tour

Day 1: Rishikesh to Rajaji National Park

As you arrive in Delhi/Your Location, meet our tour representative who helps you with an assisted road transfer to Rishikesh. On the way, stop for lunch. Upon reaching Rishikesh Freshen-up and get ready for Wildlife expedition.

Rajaji National Park is around 18 Kms from Rishikesh.

More than 500 Elephants, 12 Tigers, 250 Panthers and good prey base including Spotted Deer, Sambhar, Wild Boar, Barking deer, Goral Two kinds of Bears Himalayan Black and Sloth, and over 400 bird species makes Rajaji National Park perfect wildlife and bird watching destinations.

Elephant Ride is an enjoyable and popular activity here in Rajaji. The park is open from 15th November till 15th June every year. Post monsoon is best for spotting migratory birds.

Day 2: Visit Sidhbali Temple, Lansdowne

On day 2, enjoy breakfast. Later start your drive to the beautiful hill station Lansdowne. The distance in between Rishikesh and Lansdowne is 124 Kms. Upon reaching Lansdowne Freshen-up and get ready for day 2 journey.

About Lansdowne 

Lansdowne is a cantonment town in Pauri Garhwal district, It is situated at an altitude of 1700 meters above sea level and is surrounded by dense forest. Lansdowne is a very less crowded place and development is very minimal.

Lansdowne is very well maintained, clean and beautiful because of the Cantonment Board area Of  Garhwal Rifle (INDIAN ARMY). It also has many old British buildings, Army memories, monuments, and churches.

About Sidhbali Temple

Baba Sidhbali Temple is ancient lord Hanuman Temple,  The center point of the Shree Sidhbali Temple, with a beautiful Lord Hanuman Idol standing tall on a cliff, amidst the splendid view of Garhwal Himalaya’s. Temple is located at a top hill place, to reach there one has to climb 150+ stairs.

Shri Sidhbali Mela is held December every year at the temple.

Day 3: Visit Tarkeshwar Temple, Lansdowne

On day 3, enjoy breakfast. Later, start the journey towards Tarkeshwar Temple. Tarkeshwar Temple is around 38 km away from Lansdowne, it is a must visit place near to Lansdowne.

Tarkeshwar Mahadev Temple is a sidh peeth of Lord Shiva.
